The State Government identified a total of 3,873 infiltrators by January 2015, and they all belonged to Bangladesh.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed this in the State Assembly on Monday in response to a question of Congress MlA Naba Kishore Das.
Of the identified infiltrators, two are staying in Bargarh district, 313 in Bhadrak, 1,112 in Jagatsinghpur, 1,649 in Kendrapada, 655 in Malkangiri and 106 in Nabarangpur.
Teams comprising Revenue Department and police officials have identified the infiltrators, the CM said.
However, he said data were being collected as to what supports and facilities are being provided to the infiltrators.
