Trouble mounted on veteran Ollywood actor Uttam Mohanty and comedian Papu Pompom with a fresh video footage revealing that they persuaded people in favour of the Oscar chit fund company in Surat.
The new video footage of a grand function organised by the company in Surat in 2008 which was telecast in a local TV channel revealed how Mohanty along with comedian Papu and actress Kajol promoted the company and influenced people, especially Odia residents, in favour of the tainted money collection company.
Mohanty even said, “I am proud to be part of the Oscar group.” In his address, Papu Pompom described Oscar group chief Prabhas Rout as an elder brother. Kajol described the Oscar group as a “successful” and “very nice” company.
