The Covid-19 caseload further surged to 3,34,020 in the State after 154 more persons testing positive for deadly virus in last 24 hours. Of total fresh cases detected from 21 districts, 89 were reported from different quarantine centres while 65 were local contact cases. The contact tracing and follow-up action were underway, said Information and Public Relation (I&PR) Department. Sambalpur recorded day’s highest 19 fresh cases followed by Sundargarh and Puri with 18 cases each. The number of total active cases in State stood at 1,519 and recovered cases at 3,30,545.
