The Odisha Khadi and Village Industries Board (OKVIB) President has failed to run the board in a proper manner, OKVIB Karmacharai Sangha president Radhakanta Das has complained. Expressing concern over the board’s affairs, he has written a letter to the OKVIB President in this regard.
The President is misutilising the board’s fund on aimless tours and engaging staffs and officers in unnecessary tasks, Das alleged. He has also transferred the employees without following established procedure, he added.
Das has also alleged that the President uses offensive languages to the staffs, uses office vehicle for personal works and takes materials from GSD without proper procedure and threatens GSD staffs who ask for requisite orders.
The President has also written to the Government against Board officials without any base, he said. He is always taking huge amounts of TA for official tours, Das added. Das requested the President to rectify his ways for smooth functioning of the office.
