Police have arrested person in connection with the recent sensational case of murder of an employee of the Sri Sri University, Sunil Sahoo, near Barang.
The accused was identified as Niranjan Behera. The Barang police seized a gun and a bike from his possession.
According to reports, Niranjan is the key accused in the Sunil Sahoo murder case. The police along with the accused visited the crime spot on Sunday.
Police sources said that the murder was over a love triangle. Notably, Sunil was shot dead by miscreants in broad daylight near Netal Square under the Barang police limits on November 25.
Two miscreants colming by a motorcycle had suddenly opened fire at Sunil, leaving him critically injured. Sunil was rescued by locals and admitted to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack, where he succumbed to his injuries.
