Sambalpuri Bastralaya employees have been holding an agitation here in front of their office for the last three days demanding salary hike by 30 per cent.
About 238 regular employees of Sambalpuri Bastralaya all over India have launched the indefinite cease work.
Sambalpuri Bastralaya Employees Union (SBEU) secretary Sunil Kumar Pattanaik alleged that though they have been demanding for a hike in salary since long, the Bastralaya MD is not acting in the positive.
“We will continue the strike till the demand is fulfilled,” he threatened, adding that various unions are supporting their cause.
