In a bid to clear additional rush of passengers during the winter, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run a weekly Winter Suvidha Special train between Sambalpur and Yesvantpur.
The Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Suvidha Special train will leave Sambalpur at 8.50 am on every Wednesday and reach Yesvantpur at 4.30 pm on the next day between December 2 and January 27, 2016.
In the return direction, the Yesvantpur-Sambalpur Weekly Suvidha Special train will depart Yesvantpur at 12.30am on every Friday and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 1.45pm on the following day between December 4 and January 29, 2016. The train will have stoppages at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada in Odisha. Besides, a number of special trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through the ECoR jurisdiction during this winter and will create more berths from the ECoR.
