The frequency of the Sambalpur-Nanded-Sambalpur Express has been increased from twice to thrice a week.
As per the decision taken on Monday, the express will now run on every Sunday, Monday and Friday from Sambalpur with effect from February 9, a Press release issued by the East Coast Railway (ECoR) said.
The timings and stoppages for this train from both the directions will remain unchanged, it informed.
Similarly, in order to avoid rush in regular trains towards New Delhi from Visakhapatnam, one additional AC-2 tier coach has been added each to Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Samata Express via Rayagada and Titilagarh and to Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin Express via Vijayawada with immediate effect.
In another decision the services of Kamakhya-Yesvantpur-Kamakhya weekly express has been extended upto March 29, 2014.
