Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids on houses and office room of Bimbadhar Sethi, Mining Officer in the Deputy Director of Mines office here, while acting on a disproportionate assets case lodged against him.
Sethi’s Government quarter and office room at Sambalpur, paternal house at Birabalabhadrapur under Puri district’s Chandanpur police staion and his father-in-law’s house at Khuladwar (Belapada) and building at Padanpur under Khordah district’s Jatni police station were simultaneously. Movable and immovable assets worth Rs46,71,861 (approximately) were found in the names of Sethi and his family members. Search was continuing, informed an official release.
