The ECoR is running a direct special train between Visakhapatnam and Subedarganj (Allahabad) via Vizianagaram-Srikakulam-Bhubaneswar.
The Visakhapatnam-Subedarganj-Visakhapatnam Suvidha Special will leave Visakhapatnam on every Tuesday between October 8 and November 19 and from Subedarganj on every Thursday between October 10 and November 21. Subedarganj is 15 minutes away from Allahabad and is the next station.
The train has stoppages at Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj, Bhadrak, Baleswar, Hijli, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Gomoh, Koderma, Gaya, Sasaram, Pt.Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Mirzapur and Allahabad between Visakhapatnam and Allahabad from both the directions.
Depending on the patronisation of the special train, a decision will be taken regarding further extension of this train, said a release.
