The Vigilance on Friday formed a special team led by a DSP to probe financial irregularities committed by suspended Factories and Boilers Assistant Director Dr Motilal Gouda, informed Vigilance Director Dr RP Sharma.
Gouda is still on the run while the Orissa High Court has already rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
Notably, Gouda had reportedly issued a fake notification on October 16, 2015 to over 100 industries, including some PSUs, for health checkups in five empanelled pathological laboratories and hospitals from which he had allegedly made about Rs 1 crore as the kickback.
He had also sent e-mails to industries from his personal ID.
