The State Government would hold a Special OJEE on Sunday for the vacant seats in engineering, MBA and MCA courses in various colleges across the State.
The test would be conducted at 11 am on Sunday at 16 examination centres in five cities, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Brahmapur, Sambalpur and Baleswar.
Sources said a total 10,871 students have applied for the examination. This year, around 33,000 BTech, 3,420 MBA and 2,417 seats have remained vacant after the counselling for JEE (Main) qualifiers.
The results would be declared on September 9. Qualified candidates can download their rank card and register for counselling on September 10. Counselling would be held from September 10 to 12. Notably, the Supreme Court recently directed the OJEE authorities to conduct a special test to fill up the vacancies.
