Drugs and alcohol consumption not only damages the vital organs of human body, but also has adverse impact on the morality of a generation, said the speakers in a seminar here which was held under the aegis of a civil society body spearheading anti-liquor campaign.
The speakers, besides urging for a drugs free society, also demanded total ban on the sale and consumption of drugs and alcohol in the State for a healthy society and life.
PXE Director Appavuraj inaugurated the event, while Pravakar Sahoo, Aditya Patra, Padma Charan Nayak, Gouranaga Panigrahi and secretary of the body Mamata Mohapatra spoke. Several persons were felicitated for their contributions. A souvenir was unveiled on the occasion.
