A Zilla Parishad meeting was held under the presidentship of Zilla Parishad Chairman Himanshu Shekhar Biswal here on Sunday.
Attending the meeting, Assembly Speaker-cum-local MlA Niranjan Pujari directed the officials to come with enough homework as some officials could not provide satisfactory data required in the meeting. He also was not happy with the tardy progress of some projects.
The meeting took up issues like execution of different schemes. It was told to the meeting that 91,584 families have got Biju Krushi Kalyan Yojana (BKKY) cards in four phases and 587 cards were corrected. Besides, progress in food supply, health service, lift irrigation, textile sector was discussed.
