Defying the PCC leadership’s message, Congress dissident leader Soumya Ranjan Patnaik organised yet another of his ‘Sankalp Abhiyan’ rallies here on Wednesday.
And he has planned four more such rallies in Nayagarh, Baleswar, Rourkela and Bargarh in the coming few days. Earlier, he had held three Sankalp Abhiyan meetings at different places.
It may be noted that the PCC disciplinary committee on Monday issued a show-cause notice to Patnaik to explain his conduct in the party within seven days.
Soumya Patnaik turned a rebel in the party after his elder brother Niranjan Patnaik was replaced as the PCC president by Jayadev Jena in May this year.
