Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday arrested Soro tehsil’s Kudei Revenue Inspector Rakesh Kumar Pradhan for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs 500 from Hemanta Kumar Panda of Sarasankha for submission of enquiry report for issuance of legal heir certificate in favour of the complainant.
A trap was laid and Pradhan was caught red-handed while taking bribe from the complaint inside the Soro tehsil campus. His office room and residential house at Sahadevkhunta, Baleswar were being searched, informed an official release.
