SOP for non-Covid treatment in 3 Cuttack hospitals

Published on:

To ensure that non-Covid patients avail uninterrupted healthcare services, the State Government on Saturday issued a Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for SCB Medical College Hospital, Sishu Bhawan and Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) here.

The guidelines were issued to lessen rush and provide hassle-free healthcare services to both indoor and outdoor patients at the three major hospitals, said Covid Observer for Cuttack district Saurav Garg after a high-level meeting held at the Collector’s office here.

It was also decided that the Covid-19 testing capacity of the SCB and the AHRCC would be increased and large-scale arrangements would be made for containment of the virus, said Garg.

Besides, active contact tracing and surveillance would be conducted in the city and entire Cuttack district during the lockdown.

People having symptoms for the virus would be traced during this period, said Commissioner of Police Sudhanshu Sarangi.

Doctors of all three hospitals attended the meeting. Covid-19 Observer Sushant Mohapatra, Collector

Bhabani Shankar Chayani and Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ananya Das were present at the meeting.
