Within three hours after the order, Raja Shree was released from jail, where he had stayed for 18 days. A large number of supporters of Rajashree welcomed him outside the jail.

Barsa in her reaction said. “They (the Mohanty family) together can cause more harm to my life as well as my parents since all of them are out (of jail) now. Two other accused persons are yet to be arrested.

However I respect the law.” She demanded immediate arrest of Raghunath Mohanty’s daughter Rupashree and her husband Suvendu Madhual.
