Due to ongoing doubling work between Sakhigopal and Puri stations, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has extended adjustments in train services till July 2 (Thursday). Accordingly, some trains would be short terminated at Khurda Road and Cuttack and some cancelled to and from Puri for Thursday.The ECoR has appealed to the passengers to bear with the adjustments in the train services. It said passenger train services are likely to be totally normalised in two-three days.
The Sambalpur-Puri Inter City Express and the Talcher-Puri passenger would be short terminated at Khurda Road on Thursday and will return from there. Similarly, the Howrah-Puri passenger and Gunupur-Puri passenger would be short-terminated at Khurda Road and would return on July 3.Besides, the Rourkela-Puri passenger scheduled to arrive at Puri on July 2 would be short-terminated at Cuttack and will return to Rourkela on July 3.The trains, Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express, Puri-Barbil-Puri Inter City Express, Barbil-Chakradharpur-Barbil Express, Puri-Paradip-Puri Inter City Express, Paradip-Cuttack-Paradip passenger, Puri-Khurda Road-Puri passenger will remain cancelled from both the directions on Thursday.
