Several Special Operations Group (SOG) jawans complained of being mistreated while undergoing training at the Chandaka campus here on Wednesday.
Tension erupted on the campus due to an intense training session in the scorching sun. In the process, five jawans were taken ill and rushed to a hospital.
Later, a Sub-Inspector registered an FIR in the Chandaka police station against SOG Commandant Anirudh Singh for ill-treatment. He alleged that Singh was misbehaving with them and abusing them in foul language.
On the contrary, Singh has complained to the senior officials and alleged that the Sub–Inspector misbehaved with him. A probe has been launched into the matter.
