The modern world is filled with neck-and-neck competition and every individual needs to develop soft skills to match the requirement of the current market, said Professor Abid Ali Khan at the Management Day celebration of DAV School of Business Management (DSBM) here on Tuesday.
Khan also emphasised on the point that it is more important to be a good human being than to be a good manager because a good human being will certainly be good in managing others.
DSBM Principal DN Mishra said the programme was organised to infuse managerial skills among the students of BBA and B Com stream. Sudhansu Sekhar Sahoo coordinated the event and delivered the welcome address. Sahoo appealed to the students to embed spiritual ethos like the Panchatantra and the holy Bhagbat Gita in their life.
