For the outstanding contributions to the field of social service and organisational build-up, the Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association honoured Dr Prakash Chandra Panigrahi with this year’s prestigious Manomanini Samman. Staring from the General Secretary of the Banki College Student’s
Union (1990-91) of Cuttack district and as a pioneer in the establishment of the Niladrivihar Youth and Cultural Association in 1994, Panigrahi has been working untiringly uniting the youth mass in different societal, developmental and constructive activities, extending helping hands to the needy at the time of need and upholding the flow of art and cultural activities.
In a glittering ceremony to mark the 23rd Annual Function of Manomanini, a voluntary organization working for the development of inner qualities of the children, the award was presented in the presence of the guests, including actor Ajit Das, poet Monorajan.
