The Hasa, Yoga and Vyayam Kendra of Baristha Nagarik Manch of Lanjipalli, Brahmapur, on Monday celebrated the 61st birthday of their active member and social worker Prafulla Kumar Panda in the premises of Divine Life Society.
Manch president Prof Bhaskar Padhi introduced the guests and explained the significance of the event. Secretary Pandit Laxmi Nrusingha Padhy, senior members Sibaram Panigrahi, Debendra Acharya, Sujan Sukla and others chanted Mahamrutunjaya, Safala and Arogya mantra praying for the good health and betterment of Prafulla Kumar Panda and his family members.
Panda was also felicitated with flowers by more than 50 members of the Manch including Sarbasri Surya Narayana Mohanty, Ramesh Chandra Mohanty, Er Badudeb Sahu, K Subba Rao, K Krishna Rao, Harikrushna Sahu, Abhimanyu Maharana, Bhibhuti Bhusan Behera, Antaryami Sahu, Narasingha Panda, Purandar Mahankud, Bhikari Charan Gouda, Udayanath Sahu Lokanath Brahma, Rabindra Nath Nayak, T Subash Patra, Abhimsnya Panigrahi, Santosh Kumar Sahu, Banamali Sahu, A Madhava Patra, Jhulani Behera, A Venkateswar Rao and others.
Social worker and academician Prof KC Panda graced the event as guest of honor. Among others, surgeon Dr Binayak Panda was present.
