A thrilling lED Van display as part of a State-wide campaign titled ‘Smart Odisha’ saw excellent involvement of citizens at Gandhi Nagar Square here on Wednesday.
The campaign provided an avenue for the people to express their thoughts, opinions and suggestions for accelerating the State’s development. Citizens are taking active interest in the campaign by sharing their thoughts and messages on the message boards placed at critical points like railway stations, bus stands, colleges, corporate offices, traffic signals, malls, popular food outlets and tourist spots, across the State including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Puri, Baleswar, Brahmapur, Sambalpur, Jhasuguda, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal.
All the messages on the message board would be saved and scanned daily. Ten best ideas would be selected each day from all locations and be announced on the radio.
The ideas would also appear in the lED Van daily and people can track these vans by listening to the radio announcements.
