Small savings website unveiled

Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat here on Friday inaugurated a Small Savings website developed by the Directorate of Small Savings.The Minister also unveiled the process of issuance of web-generated lottery coupon of the Small Savings Incentive Scheme ‘AM’ series. He said now people can directly access to the information on lucrative interest rates and other benefits available on various small savings incentive schemes. 

With this, labour, time and money spent by the Government for printing and transport of coupon books would be saved, he added.Among others, Finance  Secretary R Balakrishnan, Small Savings Director Biraj Kumar Das and National Informatics Centre (NIC) State Centre head SK Panda were present.
