The Basti Suraksha Manch has alleged that though the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has published a notification in newspapers mentioning that under the Rajiv Awaas Yojana (RAY) survey a list of 436 slums has been uploaded at the BMC website but no such list is uploaded in the website.
The notification published on July 4 had mentioned that a list of 436 slums included in the RAY survey on July 2 is uploaded at www.bmc.gov.in.
Manch members further alleged that it is mandatory to rehabilitate the slum dwellers included in the surveys either under the RAY or under the Basic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP) scheme.
