Thousands of aspirants for various posts including junior clerk, Revenue Inspector (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI) and amin could not apply as the website of the State Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission was too slow.
They demanded extension of the last date of the application.
“The website of the Commission was so poor that we couldn’t apply from the beginning of the month to the last day,” said disgruntled Alok Kumar Sahu, an aspirant.
As per information from the candidates and the internet café owners, the website was very slow from November 2. On the complaint from the candidates and café owners, the authorities closed the site for five days for repairing /up-gradation.
But no development happened thereafter. When the website was opened again, same condition of slowness prevailed. And, on the last date, i.e, November 16, the situation was the worst one and none could apply.
The candidates also expressed utter dissatisfaction over such poor service either from the Commission or from the website provider.
