Contrary to a conception that MPs and MLAs keep distance from common people after elections, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Naik is seen meeting with local people and keeping in touch with mediapersons.

Nayak, who belongs to Keonjhar, had arranged for a courtesy meeting with mediapersons at the Circuit House here on Saturday. He said he would give importance on the interest of the entire State, including Keonjhar district, as a Minister.

The Minister said he would give priority to develop skills in local youths so that they can be self-employed and generate jobs for others. He also discussed about other problems of the district like difficulties being faced by Juanga people, electricity problem in Telkoi and others areas, delay in issuance of notification for a medical college in the district and lack of infrastructure in technical and general schools.

He sought cooperation from all the mediapersons in this regard. Among others, Special Development Council Chairman Ramrai Mundua and Vice-Chairman Meena Majhi, Zilla Parishad President Kamalinee Patra and DPRO Sanjiv Kumar Barik were present.
