The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has failed in keeping its promise to make all structures along the Grand Road of same colour, allege devotees.
The SJTA had announced before the Nabakalebar Rath Yatra that all buildings and structures on Grand Road sides would be painted a single colour so that it would give a unique and beautiful look. Though the Chief Minister and other authorities reviewed time and again till the Shree Gundicha Yatra yet the promise of giving a uniform colour look to the Bada Danda didn’t materialise.
There are blue big tanks on the wall of the lord Jagannath Temple and also an incomplete house in front of the Singhadwar found now, point out locals.
