Following social media report of online sales of Mahaprasad and marriage invitations from the people to the deities in Shreemandira, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in a Press release said on Tuesday that they have not yet given any permission on this to anybody.
The release said that the SJTA earlier has made it clear and informed the public of no permission given to anybody to sell Mahaprasad or send wedding card online. Still from the social media it came to notice that some four to five organizations are initiating steps on sale of Mohaprasad and the wedding invitations.
The SJTA also cleared that the issues are very parts of the Shreemandira traditions and only privacy of the temple administration.
It said anybody trying to do would face action as per law.
The SJTA informed the police to identify the individuals and organisations and bring them to book.
