Six-yr suspension for anti-party work: PCC chief

Published on:

Pradesh Congress Committee president Jayadev Jena on Saturday declared that if any party member is found to be indulging in anti-party activities and principles, he or she would be suspended for six years from the organisation.

He said that in the context of the ensuing urban local body (UlB) elections, some Congress members are found to be involved in anti-party activities. Stringent action would be taken against them, he warned.

Even a party member contests independently against the party candidate in any UlB election, he or she would be suspended for six years, Jena said.
