Four survey officers of a Bhubaneswar-based company were on Tuesday abducted by activists of the Upakula Jami Jangal Suraksha Samiti, it was learnt from reliable sources.
The activists rook them away to an undisclosed location while they were conducting survey of the Sipasarubali area. Though about eight hours elapsed since their abduction till filing of this report, the police had no information about them nor were they released by their captors. The identities of those abducted were yet to be confirmed.
