Chhavi Nath Singh assumed charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Vedanta Ltd, Jharsuguda on Wednesday. Prior to joining the Jharsuguda operations, Singh was at the helm of affairs at the Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd as Chief Operating Officer.
Singh has a rich experience of nearly four decades in the Indian power industry, with an extensive stint of 26 years with the NTPC.
Assuming the charge, Singh said, “It is a privilege to lead the company that is contributing towards the progress of Odisha and India. I look forward to galvanise the industrial progress of State and effectively contribute to Make in Odisha and Make in India.”
