The reason behind Sambalpuri album actress Simran Singh’s death was revealed after postmortem, the report of which was received by police on Saturday.
As per the report, she succumbed to injuries on her head. The report has been given to the Jharsuguda police, said the Burla police station IIC.
Police had on Saturday arrested her husband Ranju Suna in connection with the death. A case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act has been registered against him.
Simran’s family members have alleged that she was murdered and suspected Suna’s involvement in the killing. While they have filed a case at the Jharsuguda police station, another case of unnatural death has been registered at the Burla police station in connection with Simran’s death
