A five-day-long State-level Natak Mahotsav will be held from January 16 at the Ganjam Kalaparishad in Utkal Ashram Road here.
Secretary of the Mahotsav Samiti Dr Mihir Kumar Tripathy said artists of different cultural organisations from Bhubaneswar, Puri, Dhenkanal, Nayagad and Cuttack districts would stage their performances during the festival.
A preparatory meeting for the Mahotsav, held under the chairmanship of Samiti president Anil Kumar Patra, drew a detailed blueprint for smooth conduct of the festival. Among others, well-known drama director Jadu Rath, Raju Padhi, Samiti convenor lingaraj Jena, Upendra Mishra, Rabinarayan Behera, Bimal Sahu, Arati Pattnaik, Nalinilochan Panigrahi and Subash Sahu were present in the meeting.
