State Government will provide 40 per cent and it is expected that the Central Government will provide the remaining 60 per cent on the enhanced salary, while a letter in this regard has been written to the Centre.
“We were continuing the agitation over our seven-point charter of demands since the last four days. The Minister called us today morning and informed that Government has accepted four of our demands.
It includes our salary hike, job regularisation, ex-gratia on untimely death and change in nomenclature. The notification regarding acceptance of demands have been issued and we have been assured to get 25 per cent hike in salary this month,” said Odisha Siksha Sahayak Association president Malaya Kumar Jena.
