Renowned Odisha film actor and politician Siddhant Mohapatra celebrated his birthday in a unique way on Monday. He spent a lot of time of the day with the patients at the HCG Panda Curie Cancer Hospital here.
The hospital’s medical director Prof Krupasindhu Panda, medical superintendent Dr Chitta Ranjan Mohanty and centre manager Girish Mishra along with radiation oncologist Dr Ranjit Kar and deputy manager, cancer awareness & social service Goutam Jethi welcomed Mohapatra.
Mohapatra visited each patient to know about his or her health condition, prayed Almighty for recovery of all and distributed fruits he had brought with him to them. The patients felt a bit better and blessed him on this special day.Mohapatra was impressed with the modern cancer treatment facilities at the hospital and remarked, “Patients need not go outside Odisha now.” He pointed out that there are many cancer survivors now leading a normal life only because of their diagnosis was made at an early stage.
