The sixth phase of the Shrestha Brahmapur programme, ogranised here on Sunday, focussed on conservation of water in the city.
Attending the programme, Brahmapur Municipal Corporation (BMC) Deputy Commissioner Sourendra Kumar Rout, Assistant Medical Officer Dr Ranjeet Patro, BDA Chairman Subash Moharana and Corporator Ashok Sukla advised residents to conserve water as the city’s water problem is likely to be acute in coming days. They administered oaths to all those present in this regard.
The meeting was followed by cultural progrmmes in which local singers like Kali Prasad and Praveen Kumar Acharya presented songs and artists of the Odishi Nrutyana, Kelu Charan Kalatirtha Anusthan, Dyana Dance Group and Rock Star Dance groups performed dances marvelously. Ranjeet Kumar Nayak presented a comic show on the occasion.
Besides, Tae Konda artists presented their art forms and Satya Moharana made a sand art.
