In Rayagada’s Jagannath Temple, named Shraddha Srikhetra, a festive atmosphere was seen with an assembly of thousands of devotees.
The temple premises were decked up with beautiful and colourful flowers, which attracted people from different corners of the district. This was done in the wake of the inauguration ceremony of the Shreemandir Parikrama Project at Puri. The event was telecast on a large LED screen.
Prasadam was arranged for about three thousand devotees who came to the temple. Four persons including priests from the Sraddha Srikhetra and Maa Majhighariani Temple escorted by DIPRO Basanta Pradhan were in Puri to witness the event. They had been invited by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
