'Shirdi Baba was epitome of love'

The annual festival of the Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Balugaon was held on Saturday and Sunday.

Attending the event, guests opined that Sai Baba was the epitome of love and humanity. Sai Baba had encouraged charity and stressed on the importance of giving and sharing.  “He had said that unless there is some relationship or connection, nobody goes anywhere. If any men or creatures come to you, do not discourteously drive them away, but receive them well and treat them with due respect,” said Prof (Dr) Sanjay Satapathy from the Ravenshaw University.

Sai Nirmalya magazine Editor Dr Satya Khadag Roy, Prof Bijaya Kumar Nanda, Dr Chandra Sekhar Biswal and social worker Omprakash Agarwal spoke on the occasion.

Bhajan Kirtan and Jagyan were held during the two days. Thousands of devotees flocked to the temple to offer prayer to Sai Baba.
