Union Ministry of Shipping Secretary Gopal Krishna visited the Paradip Port Trust (PPT) on Friday as part of a regular review of port activities.
PPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy, along with Heads of Departments of PPT received him and explained the progress of the ongoing projects in the port and gave a vivid account of various activities undertaken for augmentation of the port’s capacity in a review meeting held at the PPT Board Room.
The Shipping Secretary expressed his satisfaction over the progress of the projects undertaken by the PPT and congratulated the PPT Chairman and his team for the excellent growth.
Gopal Krishna also had interactions with stakeholders of he port and visited the harbour area and the Mechanised Coal Handling Plant.
