With an aim to provide comfortable journey to the commuters, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run the Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express and the Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express daily from July 3 and July 6respectively, instead of earlier six days in a week.
The Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express leaving Puri at 5.45 am and reaching Howrah at 1.40 pm and in return direction, leaving Howrah at2.25 pm and arriving at Puri at 10 pm on the same day, is now running six days in a week. Similarly, the Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express leaving Bhubaneswar at 6 am and reaching Howrah at 12.40 pm and in return direction, leaving Howrah at 1.25 pm and arriving at Puri at 8.10 pm on the same day, is also running six days a week.
