Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha on March 26, informed BJP State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan here on Monday.
Shah would address a meeting in Bhandaripokhari of Bhadrak district as part of the BJP’s ‘Parliament Constituency Pravash’ programme and hold discussions with grassroots level leaders and workers of the party.
Shah’s visit to Odisha holds significance as the State unit of the BJP is preparing for the general elections next year and the BJP State-level leadership has been claiming that the party would form Government in the State after the upcoming Assembly polls. Shah’s visit is likely to boost the morale of BJP workers in the State.
