A youth of Sundargarh , who had gone to work as a migrant labourer in Goa in July through a broker, has reportedly gone missing, since his family members have not been able to trace him.
Finding no other alternative, the wife of the missing youth filed a complaint in the Sundargarh Sadar police station recently.
Rajesh Tanty(25), a native of Tholkbord village under Sundargarh Sadar police station had gone with Deb Sunani, a native of his village, to Goa in July this year on a promise of salary of Rs 20,000 per month.
His wife Sunti in his FIR mentioned that Rajesh had never contacted them after departure from the village. She informed in the FIR that Sunani had returned to the village but has not been telling anything about Rajesh.
Acting on the complaint, the Sundargarh police started an investigation in to the case. Sundargarh SP Pinak Mishra said, "Since some more persons are to be traced in Goa and Mumbai area, we would be sending a police team soon to rescue these missing persons."
