A woman contractual employee brought allegations of sexual harassment against AYUSH Director Bibhuprasad Sarangi on Monday.
The woman, in her complaint alleged that the officer was harassing her since long and forcing to have sexual relations with him and sending obscene videos and messages to her.
Following this, the victim has filed an FIR against Sarangi at the Mahila police station here.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party State unit has moved the State Women Commission(SCW) by seeking immediate intervention in the case.
The party State Unit president Rabi Behera has sent an e-mail to SCW Chairperson Minati Behera and sought her intervention seeking justice for the girl.
He has also sent the copies to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and the DGP demanding immediate action in the high-profile matter.
