A sex racket, which was being run in a restaurant in the Bomikhal area here, was busted on Wednesday.
Four persons, including the restaurant owner, were arrested by the laxmisagar police during a raid while a woman was rescued.
Sources said the flesh trade was being operated in the restaurant with the knowledge of its owner.
Following specific complaints from locals that the racket was being operated in the restaurant with the knowledge of its owner, a police team raided it.
Meanwhile, sources said those arrested have revealed a few more names of people involved in the racket, and raids were underway to nab them. The gang was operating via mobile phone network. Several mobile phones and two-wheelers, some cash besides porn materials were recovered from the spot, the sources added.
Meanwhile, medical examination of the customers and the woman was conducted at the Capital Hospital here.
