Acting on a tipoff, the Jhirpani police conducted raid on a house at Jagda here on Friday evening and arrested three persons, including two women of a family, for their alleged involvement in flesh trade.
The police also seized Rs 2,000, three mobile sets and certain objectionable materials. The lady kingpin, who had taken the house on rent in September first week, had engaged a 25-year-old girl from Bardhaman in West Bengal in the flesh trade. She had also links with the Balijodi sex racket, which was busted by the police last month. One of the arrested, Debendranath Saraf (38), a medicine representative and resident of Basanti Colony here, was a customer, said Jhirpani police station IIC Pushpa Samantray.
