The Saheed Nagar police on Tuesday busted a sex racket operating at a slum near the Vani Vihar railway over-bridge and arrested three customers.
Eleven women were also held by the police. Two customers belong to Chandka and Saliasahi in Bhubaneswar and the third one to Jharkhand. The trio would be forwarded to court on Wednesday.
The rescued women were sent to a short-stay home.
Though allegation of functioning of the sex racket in the area had been made earlier, it was running smoothly with no police action.
