Congress Gajapati district unit president S Gajapati Rao on Tuesday thanked people of the district for their fight until the district was declared drought-hit.
He said this at a Press meet held here. MlA K Surya Rao informed that the State Government has announced seven block of the district as drought-affected. He thanked the district administration for sending the report to Government.
Congress general secretary A Jaymohan Rao the party would continue to fight until the people get their all demands. Among others, Ram Prasad Patnaik, Basanta Kumar Panda, K Rama Rao, G Tirupati Rao and Premika Mandal were present.
