The Bhimtangi Senior Citizen Forum held a meeting here where senior citizens gathered and exchanged their ideas.
Minister Ashok Chandra Panda attended as chief guest on the occasion, while BMC Mayor Sulochana Das, Corporator Shiv Narayan Roy and State Child Protection Chairperson Dunakini Kar attended as guests of honour.
HelpAge India State head Bharti Chakra spoke about the Senior Civil Protection Act.
While Purshotham Sahu introduced the guests, forum members Golakh Bihari Naik, Manas Ranjan Patnaik, Padmanabha Sadangi, Madhusudan Swayum and Basant Kumar Naik were present. Shankar Sahu and Vishnu Charan Pradhan coordinated. Forum president Ganesh Kumar Pradhan delivered the welcome speech and Kamdev Ransingh sang the opening song and gave the vote of thanks.
